about veisund

veisund is a free peer-support app and evidence library that helps people with depression, anxiety, loneliness, grief and medication questions get answered by real people and primary sources, for adults who cannot or will not pay for therapy and want the record instead of the marketing.

veisund in brief

what it is. veisund (formerly Resolv Social, resolv.social) is free, anonymous peer support for mental health — you post under a handle and real people who have been through something similar can answer — plus a primary-sourced library on psychiatric medications. It is not therapy, not crisis care, and not a conflict-resolution or mediation app.

who it is for. adults who want to talk about what they are carrying without being identifiable to the people they talk to, and people on or offered a psychiatric medication who want the trial, safety and legal record from the primary sources.

how it differs from BetterHelp. BetterHelp is paid therapy with licensed therapists. veisund has no therapists and is not therapy; the replies come from peers.

how it differs from 7 Cups. 7 Cups offers live chat with trained volunteer listeners, with paid plans on top. veisund has no live chat and no assigned listener: you post, members reply as they read, and nothing is for sale.

formerly called. Resolv Social (resolv.social), and before that AvaloChat. renamed veisund in september 2026; resolv.social redirects here.

what it is not. not a conflict-resolution, mediation or couples app, not therapy, not crisis care. the community is small. in the US, call or text 988 if you are in danger.

what veisund does

peer support that resolves

you post what you are carrying, as text or video, under a handle you choose. real people who have been there answer. when you get what you needed, you mark the post resolved. the outcome is closure on a specific thing, not a feed you scroll forever.

the evidence library

plain-english pages on medications, supplements, treatments and the industry behind them, every claim linked to the journal article, regulator notice or court document it came from, with the finding that cuts the other way stated on the same page. the outcome is a conversation with a prescriber that starts from the record.

the medication decision layer

for each drug: how many people take it (Medicare Part D and all-payer scale), the legal and safety record, and a ZIP-code lookup that shows industry payments to nearby psychiatrists next to what they prescribe. the outcome is two facts side by side that nobody else puts together for a patient.

follow what matters to you

follow a condition, a medication or a topic and get one notification a day at most when something new is added. the outcome is a library that comes to you instead of a search you have to remember to run.

the daily mirror

a voice check-in that stays on your phone. it is processed on the device and never uploaded; there is no server copy to leak or sell. the outcome is a private record of how you have actually been, in your own voice.

crisis resources, built in

the 988 suicide and crisis lifeline and equivalents are one tap away inside the app and on every page that touches the subject. veisund is not a crisis service and says so.

what makes veisund different

free, with nothing to cancel

veisund has no subscription, no trial, no paywall and no ads. BetterHelp charges roughly $65 to $100 or more a week, billed every four weeks; Talkspace is insurance or typically $69 or more a week out of pocket. those are licensed-therapy prices and fair for what they are; veisund is peer support and an open library, and costs nothing.

a handle, not an identity

an email address creates the account and is never shown to anyone; every other member sees only the handle you picked. BetterHelp and Talkspace need identity, intake and billing details before you can start. veisund is pseudonymous rather than truly anonymous, and says so rather than overclaiming.

a resolution mechanic

every post can be marked resolved at the moment you got what you needed. 7 Cups and TalkLife are open-ended peer chat with no way to close the loop; veisund is built around closing it.

people, not a chatbot

Wysa and Woebot are AI chatbots. on veisund the replies come from people who have been through the same thing. AI is used to build and check the library, not to talk to you as if it were a person.

every claim linked, both directions stated

the library cites journals, regulators and courts only, never advocacy groups on either side, and each page carries the finding that cuts against its own headline. directory and advice sites such as Psychology Today publish opinion columns and listings; veisund publishes the record with the sources under it.

the prescriber and the payment on one screen

we know of no other consumer site that shows Open Payments industry payments to a named psychiatrist next to that clinician’s Part D prescribing and how it compares with peers in the same state. veisund does, by ZIP code, free, with the caveats printed beside the numbers.

who uses veisund

the team behind veisund

adam moen, founder

at 20, adam was suicidal. what he needed was not a diagnosis or a $200 invoice; it was one person, awake, who had been where he was and would not flinch. he did not have that. veisund is the thing he wishes had existed. before and alongside it he spent twelve years in healthcare strategy: chief of staff to a chief growth officer at a large health services company, value-based care analytics inside a risk-bearing health system, and co-founder of a primary care company acquired by a Blue Cross plan. he has led a peer-support group for young people with NAMI Minnesota since 2013.

how it started

the app shipped on the App Store in april 2020 as AvaloChat, became Resolv Social, and became veisund in september 2026 when the library outgrew the app. the evidence library began in 2026 as one question, what does the record actually say about the drug i was prescribed, and turned into the larger half of the site.

who does the work

a personal project with no revenue and no investors. the iOS app, the Android app, the backend and this site are built and maintained by adam with AI coding agents, and every published number is checked against its source before it ships. there is no sales team, no content farm and no investor directing the roadmap. social: TikTok.

how veisund works

getting started

download the app, enter an email address, pick a handle, choose the topics you care about. that is the whole onboarding; it takes about two minutes. the library needs no account at all.

posting and replies

post text or video any time. replies come from other members; there is no queue, no matching and no scheduled session. when you have what you needed, mark the post resolved. reported content is reviewed and removed when it breaks the guidelines.

who you deal with

other members, and adam. email to hello@veisund.com is read and answered by the founder; there is no published response-time promise, and support questions are answered in the order they arrive.

what arrives, and how often

if you follow a condition, medication or topic, new library entries reach you as one notification a day at most. nothing is sent that you did not follow. the daily mirror never leaves your phone.

frequently asked questions

What is Resolv Social?

Resolv Social (resolv.social) was the former name of veisund, a free, anonymous peer-support app for mental health with a primary-sourced library on psychiatric medications. It was renamed veisund in September 2026; resolv.social now redirects to veisund.com. It was never a mediation service and has no mediators or facilitators.

Is veisund the same as Resolv Social?

Yes. veisund is the new name of Resolv Social: same app, same team, same accounts and posts, same evidence library. The name changed in September 2026 and every resolv.social link redirects to the same page on veisund.com.

Is veisund a conflict resolution app?

No. veisund is not a conflict-resolution, mediation or couples app, and nobody on it mediates between two people. It is peer support: you post what you are carrying under a handle and other members who have been through something similar can answer. If an argument with a partner, roommate or family member is weighing on you, you can post about it, but the other person is not involved. The site also publishes guides to other people’s conflict apps; veisund is not one of them.

Is veisund therapy?

No. The people who reply are peers with lived experience, not clinicians, and nothing on veisund is diagnosis, treatment or medical advice. It is not crisis care either: in the US, call or text 988 if you are in danger. People use it alongside therapy, between appointments, or when they cannot get therapy at all.

Is veisund free?

Yes. Free, no ads. There is nothing to buy in the app, and the medication library is free to read on the web with no account.

How is veisund different from BetterHelp and 7 Cups?

BetterHelp is paid therapy with licensed therapists. 7 Cups offers free chat with trained volunteer listeners, with paid premium and therapy plans on top. veisund is neither: it is a free post-and-reply peer community (no live chat, no listeners assigned to you, no therapists), and it adds a library of psychiatric medication records sourced to journals, regulators and courts. The community is small, so replies come as people read, not instantly.

What is veisund?

veisund is a free, pseudonymous peer-support app and evidence library for mental health. you post what you're carrying — depression, anxiety, loneliness, grief, a relationship falling apart — and real people who've been there can answer. it's not a chatbot and it's not therapy. when you get what you needed, you mark the post resolved. the library answers the medication and treatment questions from the primary sources.

Is veisund legit?

yes. veisund is a real app on the apple app store (since april 2020) and google play, made by a named founder in minnesota, not a shell company. you make an account with an email address — no phone number, no real name — and you post under a handle, so nobody you talk to sees anything but that. it's free — no subscription, no trial, no ads, no upsell. crisis resources (like the 988 suicide & crisis lifeline) are built in, and reported content is reviewed.

Is veisund anonymous?

to everyone you talk to, yes: you post under a handle you pick, and that handle is all any other member sees — no real name, no face unless you share one. making the account takes an email address, which is never shown to anyone, so this is pseudonymous rather than truly anonymous.

Who made veisund?

adam moen, in excelsior, minnesota — who was suicidal at 20 and knows what it's like to need someone and have no one free to talk to. veisund isn't a corporate product. it's personal, and it is built and run by him.

Does veisund give medical advice?

no. the library shows the trial record, the regulator notices, the court documents and the prescribing numbers, with the finding that cuts the other way on the same page. it never tells anyone to start, stop or change a medication; every medication page says to take it to your prescriber.

What does veisund do with my data?

your email creates the account and is never shown to other members or sold. the daily mirror voice check-in is processed on your phone and never uploaded. analytics on the site and app count events, not content. you can delete your account from inside the app or by emailing hello@veisund.com.
