if you type faithfulcounseling.com into a browser today, you land on betterhelp.com. we checked on 2026-09-29: the home page, the FAQ and the get-started page all return a permanent (301) redirect to BetterHelp, and BetterHelp's home page and FAQ we read don't mention Faithful Counseling. we won't guess why. if faith-integrated counseling is what you were after, this page lists organizations whose own sites say they offer it, plus what BetterHelp itself says, and where veisund fits (mostly, it doesn't).

checked on 2026-09-29. https://www.faithfulcounseling.com/ returned HTTP 301 with the location https://www.betterhelp.com/. the /faq path redirected to betterhelp.com/faq, and /get-started redirected to betterhelp.com/christian-faith, which returned a 404 (page not found) that day. that is all we can say from the outside. if you had an account, contact BetterHelp through its own site about records or billing.
Focus on the Family runs a counseling line. its page says you can call 1-855-771-HELP (4357) or fill in a request form, a counselor calls you back, and the consultation "is available at no cost to you due to generous donor support" with "one of our licensed or pastoral counseling specialists." it also offers "referrals for licensed Christian counselors in your area," and points to rTribe, an app with video sessions from counselors in its network. its page notes that rTribe "is not a service of Focus on the Family" and charges a subscription. a second route is Psychology Today's Christian category, a directory filter for therapists who list Christian faith in their practice. you choose the therapist, and you should check their license and fees yourself. we don't rank denominations, churches or ministries. many congregations also keep their own referral lists.
Khalil Center describes itself as "a psychological and spiritual community wellness center advancing the professional practice of psychology rooted in Islamic principles." its services page lists psychological, psychiatric and counseling services for adults, youth, children, couples and families, delivered through a model it calls Traditional Islamically Integrated Psychotherapy. for the Jewish community, Relief is a nonprofit that helps people find and evaluate mental health services. it says it has offices in major Jewish communities and will help people outside them find treatment. Psychology Today also has a Jewish therapist category, and a Muslim category exists as a directory filter.
if what you wanted from Faithful Counseling was licensed therapy by message or video at a set weekly price, BetterHelp is now the direct route, and its FAQ says its therapists include people who specialize in religion. it works with insurance for some members: an average copay of $23 per session for insurance-eligible members, or $70–$100 a week without insurance, according to its site. its FAQ also says providers "will not prescribe medication" and may not make an official diagnosis. one thing to know from the regulator's record: in July 2023 the FTC finalized an order requiring BetterHelp to pay $7.8 million and banning it from sharing consumers' health data for advertising. any of these options is a better fit than veisund if you want counseling with a professional.
veisund is free peer support by post and reply, for adults 18 and over. you post under a handle you choose (no real name, no phone number) and other members reply when they read it. it is not live chat, the community is still small so replies can take a while, and it is not therapy or a crisis service. when a reply helps, you can mark the post resolved and credit it. there's also an evidence library: plain-language study summaries with the source and an evidence grade, and a lookup of drug-company payments to your own doctor from federal Open Payments data. it isn't faith-based. people of any faith or none post there, and you can bring faith into your own post if you want. if you're looking for counseling that uses your faith, one of the options above is the better fit.
