where to list your practice: honest comparisons

we sell a therapist listing, so read these with that in mind — and then notice we still tell you when a competitor is the better fit. every page covers real pricing (verified 2026), what the fee actually buys, and who each platform genuinely suits. veisund is new; where our audience is smaller or a feature doesn't exist, the page says so.

the short version of our pitch

  • listings are free: no fee, and never a percentage of your session revenue
  • veisund is a personal project with no revenue, so nothing is for sale, including placement
  • the first 50 listings are a real cap. past it, new therapists join a waitlist — we don't run a countdown, because we'd have to make the number up
  • what you're betting on: a growing peer-support community where answering real questions builds visible reputation
  • what we don't do: insurance billing, credentialing, EHR — keep Alma/Headway for that

straight answers

Is veisund an alternative to Psychology Today for therapists?

Yes, as a listing channel, not a search directory. veisund is a free peer-support app (formerly Resolv Social, renamed September 2026) where therapists can hold a listing that members see when they decide they want professional help. Listings are free, and veisund never takes a percentage of session fees. Psychology Today is $29.95 a month for a profile in a search directory with far more traffic.

How is veisund different from a therapist directory?

A directory shows your profile to people searching for a therapist. veisund shows your listing to people already talking through a mental-health struggle with peers in a community, at the moment they decide peer support is not enough. The audience is smaller and newer than a directory; the fit is a flat-fee listing you can add without betting anything on it.

What does veisund not do for therapists?

No insurance billing, no credentialing, no EHR, and no client-matching service. Alma and Headway handle billing and credentialing; veisund is a listing plus a community. It is peer support, not therapy, and says so in the app.

what you'd be putting your name next to

Every research summary veisund publishes carries a trust score computed from the source itself — study design, funding, venue, sample size, preregistration — and a retracted paper scores zero and is blocked from publication. It's all free to read on the web with no account, so you can check the standard before you attach your licence to it.
