What Changed

When the label changed, and what it said before

Read this first. An FDA label is revised for many reasons, and most of them are not safety findings — a manufacturer changes, a section is reformatted, a typographic correction is filed. A revision appearing here means the label document changed on the date shown. It does not by itself mean the drug became more dangerous, and this page never says that it did.

Where we can see which section changed, we say so. Where we cannot, we say that too rather than guessing. Nothing here is medical advice, and no entry is a reason to start or stop a medication on your own.

Every medication in our library is checked against the FDA’s own Structured Product Labels. We follow each drug by its label’s permanent document ID, so a revision recorded here is a change to that document, not a different company publishing its own copy of the same text. How this is built

Drug labels in the United States are filed as Structured Product Labels, and each one carries a permanent document ID and a version number that increments when the labeler files a revision. We store the version we last saw for every medication in our library and compare it against the FDA’s current one. When it moves, the change is recorded here with the date the new label took effect and a link to the document itself, so you can read it rather than take our word for it.

One honest limit: the FDA publishes the current label, not a diff. We can tell you a section changed and when, and we can link you to what it says now. We cannot show you the removed wording unless we happened to be watching before it went.
