sense of self & belonging

I was abandoned by my parents at birth. I never wanted to exist. Life has never seemed worth going through and I want to disappear, not exist anymore. I’m jobless, dropped out of uni, and feel no sense of wanting to do anything. I had hobbies and used them to sustain the motivation to live, but I grew tired of all that too. I don’t want to live a life sustained by distraction. I don’t want to live.

I can sense your longing, frustration, but mostly, a burning passion that knows there is more that you can do and offer in this world. It’s tricky to bring that out in ourselves. Don’t beat yourself up for not having discovered that or acted on it yet the important thing is you know it and want it. Now the hard part. How. How do you bring it forth? Or what could it be?any ideas?

I honestly have no clue. I was forced to raise the younger relatives in my family at a young age and lost the ability to feel enjoyment. I was always so focused on rearing children that weren’t mine and lost myself.

Hum. Are you still with them or do you live independently of your family now? I can see how that would have an effect on your ability to experience joy. I had to rebuild my ability to fee joy. It was tough, but it’s possible. I did a lot of experimenting. Trying new things. Getting out of my comfort zone
