I struggle with addiction, depression and aggression leading to the end of an 8-year relationship.i have a new place and a mental-health clinic waiting for me.after 12 weeks of drug-abuse, pain and suicidal thoughts, I have to be strong for 2-3 weeks before all burocracy and preparation is done.i am very lucky, but I still struggle a lot. I am here, because I can not talk to my peers every day without causing stress, sadness and more damage.

I realized that I have to love myself and find inner peace before I can be the best version of myself and love and support others the way I always wanted.the drugs put a fog over my mind and emotions and it is only coming back very slowly.i need to train awareness in order to resist the temptations that are everywhere.i have to learn to be alone and take responsibility.i tried to hide from the bad stuff in my life, but I have to face & fight it.

You sound like you know exactly what is going on in your life and what you can do influence and change it. Thanks for sharing, I really appreciate your optimism and motivation, they are necessary ingredients for progress

It's really hard to deal with all my personal issues after losing my long term partner.we were fighting and I broke some stuff and left.i said many bad things also, because I could not control my anger.there has been issues and unsolved emotional stress all along, but even now I struggle to let go of this person.there is some contact, but no definite decision for or against us.i did not process the separation and I am not sure if I should give up

hope and the fight for a reunion.deep inside of me I have been feeling incomplete and misunderstood and helpless to pinpoint and solve the problems.Im not sure if this is maybe relieving and just the beginning of a new and possibly more happy life.At times it seems like this romantic relationship is just another of my addictions that I have to let go of. On top of all that I have an annoying tinnitus that makes it really hard for me to relax.

All my plans were delayed for another week and I find no motivation and energy to be active and productive.its been worse before, but I feel isolated.all my social contacts here at my old place are highly disfunctional, addicted or criminal people or all of that together. I need an intellectual exchange apart from just scoring the next high or talking about parties and illegal things. I realized that I neglected most social relations from the

Time before that relationship.i probably hurt many people with that.i was mostly stoned n might arise in them. I never thought it might be a serious issue, but my last partner speaks a rather obscure language as native speaker.

Typoed. Lots of things seem to get lost in translation, as I never learn her language, because we were living far from any daily use case. I miss the cleverness, experience and advice I found before with some of my fuckbuddies, but many years pasted since then and it feels stupid and selfish to reach out to them now. Do I have to be compleatly alone and heal before I can commit into a healthy relationship again, or can I heal myself and fix the

Problems in the latest one at the same time. Im a all or nothing typ person, so this state of not knowing what is left between us, drives me mad.it seems like I broke all to the point where fixing it is impractical. I'm just not sure if it was that what I really wanted or if I hurt myself and my partner out of a psychotic state of withdrawal and depression. I guess only time will show.

Definitely can relate to being here because u don’t want to cause problems with ur peers . When the majority of people you’re around can’t relate to how crippling anxiety & depression . I’m sure my loved ones really try to relate but unless u actually experience what it’s like u can’t understand. It seems like most people on here are feeling a lot like me so it’s a good place to vent
