I have recently been diagnosed with Intermittent explosive disorder with bipolar tendencies and I am struggling to understand what is happening with me all I feel is anxious about it and over it.

Thanks for sharing. New diagnoses can be helpful and confusing at the same time. One small trick I try and stick to is to not use possessive words like ‘I am bipolar’. Mental health diagnoses can be labels that limit is so speaking like you did, in a more passive way, like I experience or I have been diagnosed with is a way to retain a feeling of humanness and not let the diagnosis take over all that it means to be you. You are still a person

And you happen to exhibit symptoms of ied, bpd, etc. it’s ok to feel anxious about it and know that it doesn’t define you as a person. It’s a thing you live with and will continue learning how to live with more effectively provided you get the right support, access, and education
