stress & emotional wellbeing

Hey, I’ve been at an all time low lately and I feel very hopeless. Nothing excites me anymore. I feel confined in my own house and it doesn’t provide me with a sense of comfort anymore. I feel very lonely and like nobody cares about me but even when they do I push them away because of anxiety. I’ve been crying so much lately and yesterday I self-harmed for the first time in a long time. I feel like things won’t get better.

That can feel like a very scary place to be. And I have been there too. It took a lot of work, help from professionals, revaluation of my life, new philosophy, and ultimately a giant turn in the direction of where I was going. And ultimately, it was for the best. It was a wake up call for me. It was life saying, hey there, you may want to think about something else.

Siddhartha by Herman Hesse. The alchemist, Paulo cuello. I felt like I started to realize what people actually meant by the word ‘god’. I found an amazing partner who supports and love me with all my challenges. Everyone can feel that feeling where everything is going to be alright. Psychedelic experiences, exploring, travel, following my actual dreams vs doing what one ‘should’ do. It’s all a combination of building up those skills, those reason

Thank you so much. This has been so helpful. I understand what you’re saying about knowing yourself through suffering. I will definitely look into some of the things you have talked about. Plus Paulo Coelho is an amazing author !

Yes. That darkness is necessary to see light I know it’s clique. But there was a time after my worst darkness where I actually started to feel again. And I started to feel joy, like tears streaming joy and it had been years since I actually felt anything. You can get there too and I promise the darkness won’t be for naught.
