I accidentally killed a malnourished kitten tonight trying to bottlefeed it. Everything happened so fast and she was already so faint. I can’t find it in me to forgive myself nor make up for her little life that should still be here with us now. I’m so sorry, little one. I failed you.

I'm so sorry that happened, it must be kind of traumatizing. The way I see it, you were just trying to help a malnourished kitten. It's sad that this happened, but it wasn't really your fault. You did what you could. You were trying to do the right thing for the kitten. I know you feel terrible about it, but please try to forgive yourself, even if it might take a while to get there. All the best buddy, take care and don't be too hard on yourself.
