stress & emotional wellbeing

Hi, I feel like there's something wrong with me and I really want to know what but I don't and it's stressing me out. I want to talk about it and my other concerns to a mental health professional and I was supposed to talk to one but my mom stopped scheduling meetings for me because she's no longer worried of me being suicidal and seems to think that after like 3 sessions with a therapist all my issues are 'cured', but they're not. Idk what to do

Try to do research and look at videos talking about the topics you feel are the cause of your uncertainty.apart from that, it might help to talk to other individuals who experienced the same issues and managed to overcome them. Therapy is not a magic cure, but a help to find the right way to do work through the difficulties yourself.self-love, mindfulness, attachment theory are only some of the topics that might be of interest.physical activities

Like sports, dancing or moving outside are part of therapy as well as creative tasks like painting, singing, crafts or whatever you feel suits you. On big issue is motivation to get yourself out into the world and find inner peace. Good luck.

Hey OP, I’m glad you reached out. It definitely can be stressful, and I’m sorry that happened. I agree with ernestoClean, also, I think there might be other resources to talk with. I live in BC, and there’s a crisis line I’ve used

Would you like to keep going to the therapist? Could be that there financial barriers involved she isn’t telling you about impacting the decision, may not be as much about you and being cured
