stress & emotional wellbeing

Hi, this is my first time using this app. I (16m) have dealt with severe anxiety and depression since around 6th or 7th grade, and I don't know what to do any more. I just recently opened up about my issues to my parents and I'm now seeing a counselor, but I feel even more empty now than I did back then. People think I'm lazy, but I'm always worn-out because it takes so much mental energy to do what I need to do. (school work, football, etc)

That’s great you are getting support! It takes courage to reach out and I’m proud of you for doing that. Sometimes things feel worse the more you look at them and realize. You might just be becoming more aware of yourself and the situation. That can feel worse but it’s necessary to make progress because those thoughts and findings are going to be the building blocks you launch off of to make new habits and relationships.

Just enjoy what you love doing. More you try to be happy... Less you will become. Don't judge yourself. Don't care what people think about you. People have very short memory, they forget. Everyone thinks what someone is thinking about themselves... Thats why people don't have time to think.
