stress & emotional wellbeing

I feel like i'm at the end of the line. I'm 34 and my girlfriend broke up with me on Friday. Another failed relationship. I'm so emotionally tired, i hate waking up in the morning and doing my boring mind-numbing job. I'm sick of struggling each day to find some happiness, i'm so very tired. Been thinking how i can end it the past couple of days, i just want this pain to stop. I really think i'm done.

There are ways to reduce the pain. JUst curious, what do you do? And sorry about the gf. Relationships are hard but sometimes it’s best if they end. And if it’s not for the best, you will get back together. Do you still want to be with her? What are your thoughts on it?

Hang in there. It’s so tough to go through breakups like these, especially as you get older— it can feel exhausting. Do you have any kind of well-being practices? I used to be suicidal for years (like most of them) and an addict because of that. But mindfulness and other practices to work on my mental health has helped tremendously. Also therapy or going to a doctor if it feels immediate.

Sometimes the mindfulness and some gratitude practices can help you change your relationship to your job. Sometimes it can help to start looking towards a new path, but understand that it can take time to transition a career.
