I'm almost sure I'm overreacting but it's been two weeks now and it's still messing with my head, how can I get over it?

What’s going on? Replaying a scenario in your head or thinking about it on repeat?

Both, long story short, I had my first approach to a relationship, went wrong and I think about her everyday, I know it wasn't such a big deal but it really took a toll on me. I let go alredy but I have like some sort of PTSD and everytime I remember it I feel anxious and it hurts. I recovered my "normal life" alredy but it hurts still, it's annoying to think about it and her everyday, I moved on, I don't want ti get back to her or something

I just want to get rid of that uncomfortable feeling and stop wasting my day going back to that time

Yeah. I can see how you’d want to stop feeling that way. Have you tried writing a letter to her about your feelings? Everything on your mind. Then put it in envelope and don’t send it. If you find yourself continuing to think about something go and add it to the letter. Each time you have a thought, go write it down. Keep doing that each time and see how you start to feel about those thoughts

Last time I talked to her I told her everything I wanted to say, I don't think that could help, it's about me and not being able to control my mind is not about her

You are right about that. So then you know something. You know it is within you control.

I know it is, but I don't know how to control it, maybe it's a matter of time but I've been through similar stuff and it never takes this long.

Yeah I think you are right. Also it could mean that there are some things still inside of you that you have not come to terms with. That’s why the letter exercise could be of value because it may help you process some of those

    I'll try it, thank you
