I’m heartbroken to hear that because I’ve felt similarly and would never wish that upon anyone. Hum, sometimes people can be really insensitive. Couple thoughts, do you like your job and the people you work with? Otherwise, do you think talking about how it makes you feel would make the situation better or worse?

yes i love my job but i don't like how my colleagues treat, they are so judging and they really stigmatised me ,it really makes me feel bad and yes talking about how i feel with someone who understands me makes me feel better

Ok. What do you think about talking to your manager or HR about this? Do you feel like they might support you on creating a new dynamic at work around you mental health? Seems a bit like this could be some form of harassment so I’m trying to understand how you can get the organization on your side to create a more healthy working environment

I've already taken the matter to the HR and The manager but they take it lightly while deep inside am suffering...Every time i experience Bipolar and depression episodes,am unable to go to work and do my duties normally..they keep telling me that am playing with my job and that i might loose my job but to be honest i love my job,its just that i find it hard coping with my condition, its really affecting my day-to-day life...

before i saw a doctor, whenever i experience the episodes,i was self medicating myself through alcohol and substance abuse it was so bad that i took myself to a rehabilitation centre...sometimes i just hate my life
someone who replied, again·
What do you hate about it?
the person who asked·
the fact that am not living a normal life due to my mental illness

Can you be more specific? What do you consider ‘normal?’ And how is your life different? I don’t mean to patronize, I’m just curious how your they are defined in your mind

mental illness affects my day-to-day life am unable to do my duties normally...thats what i can say
someone who replied, again·
But maybe normal looks different to you than others. Do you often find yourself comparing yourself to others and how does it make you feel if you do?
the person who asked·
actually i don't compare myself to others,i always live in my own world..

I must have misinterpreted your use of the word normal to be in comparison to others. What’s not normal about the way you are living right now? Sounds like your mental health is getting in the way of you doing what you want. What does it look like when you are struggling with your feelings to say either go to work or to avoid it? How does that play out?
