relationships & contentment

I’ve had a really overwhelming day. My girlfriend is struggling mentally and it’s affecting me a lot. I feel like everything is on my shoulders and I don’t know what to do. I have anxiety eating out in public and it makes her relapse on past struggles with anorexia when I don’t eat much. It happens every time we go out. Everything else in the relationship is perfect but this could be a dealbreaker. I don’t know what to do.

Sounds like you each are struggling with some things. It’s OK to struggle and you will find out what is worth putting up with and what is worth not putting up with you have to answer that scale in yourself and whatever you decide is the right decision.

Hey looks like we are having the same day. It's very similar with my fiance. I don't know what to do either but I hope we find a way out and have a happy relationship

Honestly if you have kids you’ll never want to eat out again. Lol. Until they are older at least. But eating out is not an essential part of the relationship. Maybe just do something else? Movies, coffee. Walks, theater concerts plays. Eating out is the default way may relationships start but I often find it’s one of the hardest to get to k ow someone. You learn way more about someone on a mini golf course than you do from a meal
