relationships & contentment

I dont know if Im using the right tag. I'm new to this app and it fits in a few I think. I don't love myself. So I thought no one would ever love. So I managed to stop all communication with love central. I had little hope at finding love. My friend thought it would be funny to pretend they had a crush on me for a few days. I am confused now, because I got upset when they said it was all a joke. It crushed the last hope I had. I feel empty now.

As counter intuitive as it sounds reliable self love is the best path to love from others. Our culture confuses self love with ego gratification. Self love lives naturally within all of us; our being. Gratitude for this moment is what always gets Me back on track. Write down one thing you are grateful for and then spend 5 minutes being grateful. It helps me change my mindset.

That’s a mean joke 😥 I’m sorry. How come you don’t like, let’s just start with like instead of love, is it true that you don’t like yourself? How come?

I guess I have a lot of self esteem issues. I've been on the heavier side since 3rd grade. I generally don't like my appearance. I also never got alot of love from my mom. I guess growing up not being loved made me not like myself.

I can see how youd feel that way. You are worthy of love though. And this feeling you have about self esteem can be worked on! There are things you can do to feel better about yourself. You are not stuck here forever!! You can do whatever you want in life and you can change how you feel. You are powerful
